The Silicon Valley Academy is intended for somebody who is looking for a breakthrough in her or his career. The ideal profile is an individual who is eager to learn, looking to gain additional valuable international experience, would like to broaden his or her set of skills, make friends, develop a professional network, develop valuable career skills and experience personal growth.
First, you have to fill out and submit the application form for the desired program with your personal information on our website. Someone from our team will get in contact with you, and will most likely ask you to send a CV or short letter explaining why you would like to attend the program. After reviewing and hopefully accepting your application, we will send you a confirmation email with the invoice for Registration Fee payment in the amount of 100 EUR (+ HST 13% in case you are applying for Toronto Business Academy).
In order to join the program, we do not ask for any English tests (like TOEFL or IELTS), however previous knowledge of English is mandatory.
Previous knowledge of business, management or Business english is not needed, although somewhat recommended. The content of different modules in the course covers a wide range of topics, but the lectures are designed to engage the participants who do or do not have prior knowledge of business. Taking into account the diversity of participants backgrounds, the courses and programmes are designed to be beneficial, valuable and engaging for all participants.
Yes, you are welcome to apply even though your study background isn’t something related to business or economics. We do encourage students from other fields to apply as well, in order to create more diverse, dynamic and challenging environment.
In order to apply and join the program, you have to be at least 18 years old.
The price of the tuition fee covers: accommodation, welcome package, lectures, course material, networking events, seminars and corporate visits, certificate of completion, 24/7 assistance from our coordinators, exclusive access to our Alumni network, possibility to become part of our team, 1-day trip with your international colleagues and an experience that you will remember for the rest of your life!
On top of this, Munich program also includes breakfast package in the tuition fee.
There are possibilities to apply for a national scholarship or grant in your home country of residence, but this is a responsibility of each individual participant. (For example: Slovenian students can apply for a national scholarship in the amount of 710€ here). In case you do want to apply for the scholarship, we will provide you sufficient documentation.
Yes, if you have accommodation, you can sleep off campus. In this case, let us know in advance (as early as possible), so we can deduct the accommodation price from your total Tuition fee.
Participants have to cover food expenses, private trips before and after the programme, airplane tickets, health insurance and any shopping and miscellaneous personal costs.

The ABC Business Academy management organizes its programs in advance, that means that some changes may occur. All changes will be announced in advance and resolved with the smallest deviation from the official and announced program.

There is a 24/7 available contact person (one of the representatives and organizers) from the management in order to help you, give you advice, answer your questions, resolve the complaints, and, of course, to mingle and show you what the city has to offer.
Program includes both lectures, corporate visits and group work/mentoring. They are all mandatory in order to pass the course. Lectures are usually held in the morning (4 hours), while corporate visits and group work will be scheduled in the afternoon (2-4 hours). Participants can enjoy their free time in between lectures and other group scheduled activities.
Yes, but you will not be able to take longer trips, because there will be mandatory attendance in order to pass the course. You will be able to take short weekend trips at your own expense, but you are free to travel before and after the program on your own.
During the program, you will have the chance to meet a lot of guest speakers, influential business people, entrepreneurs and others who are succeeding in what they do. After the lectures, the time will be assigned just for the networking part, where you will got to meet and talk with them.
In order to be able to access online documents and work on their group work using collaborative tools, students are required to bring a laptop or tablet.
Programs in Toronto and Munich are designed by the standards for ECTS credit points. Credit points are recognized and equivalent to 5 (Munich) and 6 (Toronto) ECTS. In order to transfer credits, each participant’s home university has to confirm the course. We encourage the students to contact their study abroad office in advance to learn about the possibilities of transfering the credits.
Participants will get an official certificate upon successfully completion of the program. There will be a closing ceremony where certificates will be presented by distinguished guests. For participants wanting to transfer grade and ECTS Credits to their home university, ABC Business Academy will issue transcript of grades sufficient for course recognition.
Yes, there is always a small chance, but in that case, you will be informed in time, and all payments will be reimbursed. For more information, please read our cancellation policy.
No, all learning materials will be supplied in hard copy or distributed online by the professors and by the ABC Business Academy. You are required to bring your own laptop and a notebook for taking the notes.
ABC Business Academy team will be on your disposal for the whole duration of the program. On each location, we usually have a few ambassadors (ex-participants) who are there to show you around the city, take you to some events or hang around with you. They will be ready to answer any questions regarding the city you might have, but you will also receive a city booklet in advance before the program.
